My name is Taylor and I’m one of the lucky few.

Our little family consists of myself, my husband Chris, our son Levi, and our dog Gus. We are proudly Canadian and are located in Eastern Ontario.

My son Levi has Translocation Down syndrome. He is the sweetest boy and has a contagious smile that needs to be shared with the world. I truly believe he was put on this Earth to spread joy to all those who are fortunate enough to meet him.

I am starting this blog for three reasons;

Reason one: I find it somewhat therapeutic to put our experiences into writing.

Reason two: I want to spread awareness, advocate and educate.

Reason three: I hope that other families processing a diagnosis stumble across this blog and find comfort in knowing they are not alone in this journey and that their feelings are valid.

I am not by any means a good writer but hey I have a story to share so I’m going to give it a whirl.
